Can Anyone Recommend A Good Domain Name Provider That Offers Decent Space & Hosting?

I’d like to set up my own website, and I know there are a lot of options out there. Where is the best place to register my ‘dotcom’ name? I’d like for them to have decent hosting options, something not TOO pricey. I’m good with web design, so I don’t need anything with one of those ‘easybuilder’ options. Somewhere I can upload various HTML pages and other various files.
Uhm… I Guess that’s it. Thanks!

What Is The Name Of Those Websites/search Pages That Are Up On What Were Once Expired Domain Names?

I don’t know how to ask this question (wording). But maybe someone has an idea of what I’m talking about. You go to maybe a misspelled domain name or an expired domain name and it’s an annoying search/ad page. What are these pages called?

If I Get A Spam That Directed Me To A Domain (site Name)?

See it is not enough to report the spam! Probably nothing will be done against it. Those spams are sophisticated and change face everyday. But the site which they refer to do not change their domain name everyday. I have a site which was referred to by a spam email. (I am an American who stays overseas in contry xxx), the spam is trying to sell Canadian Drugs, when I went to the referred site in the spam, the site displayed a text message “we ship to xxx (my country) too” this is not a valid site! They work hand in hand with the spammer!
QUESTION, Is there any agency to report those combined SPAM and SITE, both together. And if an agency exists out there, is it effective and worth the time?

If I Own The Only Domains That Identify The Name Of A Popular Region, How Much Are They Worth?

No one else has my set of names, .com, etc., that capture the name of a region with 150,000 people and attracts millions of tourists a year. I haven’t done much with it except attach a message board, that gets 10,000 views a day.
What do you think this .com name would fetch?

I Own A Domain Name That Was Mentioned On A Popular Tv Show – How Much Is It Worth?

I own the domain name that was mentioned in a recent episode of a popular, prime-time comedy on a broadcast network. Basically, the network screwed up and didn’t purchase it. (The URL was mentioned in a press release before the show aired — I let them use it for the show so they could build content around it.)
Long story short the guy who was supposed to purchase the URL didn’t and called and told me he screwed up and asked for mercy. I felt compassion for the guy and agreed to undersell it. We agreed to a few small things (like refund of my price, the first few seasons on DVD, a nice bottle of scotch) as part of the negotiation. However, one of the big things I asked for was for a poster of my comedy troupe to hang in the background of scene. He said this could happen but that was 7 weeks ago and I haven’t heard from him since, even after multiple attempts to get a hold of him.
So, since he has dropped the ball, I’m reselling the URL. But I don’t know what it is worth — does anyone have an idea? There was no contract in place — I offered but he didn’t want one. The site still gets over a thousand visits a day and the episode aired weeks ago.
Is there any precedent for this kind of sale? What can I expect?

Is There A Site That Allows You To Buy & Maintain Multiple Domain Names And Have Free Web Hosting As Well?

I am looking to buy some domain names, but would like to purchase them from the same place that will host them. Is there a site out there that will allow me to purchase my domain names and get free hosting for them as well? I have already found bravehost, but would like to compare it with other similar sites. I have not been able to find any. Does anyone know of where I might be able to purchase domain names and get free hosting as well?
