Does godaddy.com let one write out their pages from just html? And I am beginning to think that maybe I am going to have to pay extra if I want more than a few pages.
I read something about using an FTP to upload .html files but as far as I can tell at godaddy.com you set up the FTP on your computer rather than just using one on the site.
I was at bravehost.com where I understood everything perfectly. I just wanted something a little cheaper but now I’m thinking maybe the extra bucks are worth it. The phrase “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” seems appropriate to me right now.
If anyone could shed some light on this for me I’d really appreciate it.

So, I was wondering if doing that is easy, and do I just purchase a name and thats pretty much it?

And of course they then offer you a solution to your dilemma – at still more cost. So a few questions.. if you register with other registrar will they keep your information private at no extra charge? Or do they all require extra fees to keep your name and address etc private? And lastly – how are godaddy’s fees compared to other registrars if you compare both their basic domain name service and their premium “keep your address etc private” service??
