Is “freedom” Worth Fighting For?

If it is, then why are we as Americans letting NAFTA do as they please when it concerns AMERICAN roads? The “Pilot” program about letting Mexican trucks ANYWHERE in the US continues to go forward even though Americans spoke out against it.
This goes the same for the NAFTA “Super highway” going from Mexican ports all the way into Canadian land and the first “Check point port” is in Kansas City. This is called the Kansas City Port for those of you who do not know the name and wish to look into this. They are taking away millions of acres away from US citizens in the name of “Immanent Domain” to create this highway.
What about how the Mexican Army continues to cross our Southern border into the US to help aid drug smugglers into the US?
What about the two border agents who are still in prison because they were doing their job to protect the US? The drug dealer that they shot is looking at major time because of his actions.

NO! Freedom is not worht fighting for.
Not in the current format of the word. To us, freedom means something very different to the freedoms that the elite speak of.
Their definition of the word is a perversion on ours and many do not understand what is meant by Presidents and governments speaking of ‘freedom.’
Freedom to them means the freedom to work, pay taxes, be controlled, and have a pyramid system in place which allows a small group of people to sit at the top pulling strings to live in luxury. If you do not believe this, then look at the lavish lifestyles of the elite.
It is sad and disgusting to see what is happening in AMerica today with only a handful of citizens having the brains and independent thoughts to stand up against it.
Freedom IS worth fighting for, but it needs to be the peoples definition of it, and not the governments or the elites version of it because we have non have of us been truly free since birth.
When William the Conqueror went and took England in 1066, he introduced these ‘freedoms’ then. One of the first acts he did was the domesday book which was a record of every single item of worth owned by every single person in the country in order to levy a tax…does this sound like freedom to you?
Worth noting too is that Mr Conqueror is also a direct bloodline relative to Mr Bush.
Picture that…nearly 1,000 years of the same rulers being in power introducing FREEDOMS to the people.
For another point, William the Conqueror was also instrumental in the crusades against the Muslims too.
Nothing has changed freedom wise, or indeed enemy wise, for well over 1,000 years and still nobody can see it.

I agree with a lot of what you are saying but I don’t understand “who” you are talking about when you say NAFTA is doing this or that. NAFTA is an agreement, it’s a piece of paper. NAFTA is doing nothing. It’s the countries that signed it, including us that are the problem, and yes freedom is worth fighting for.

  3. Debs says:

Yes, it’s worth fighting for and maybe someday we’ll, in reality, have as much freedom as we think we do.
I completely understand your frustration, though.
Thanks for the update…you are much better informed on this subject than anyone I know.

  4. KJ says:

Have you heard of the North American Union? If not, look it up. It will explain a lot of what’s going on, even though we protest, and they deny it. The Govt.’s a big machine, and we are less and less a part of it. Pray!

  6. dodgerbl says:

Of course it is worth fighting for
As a veteran( if you really are one) you should be ashamed of yourself for even asking this.

  8. 2gadoo says:

Yes it is worth fighting for & if people don’t wake up soon its going to be to late. It won’t be long they will take our guns, currency, & land away from us.

  9. Wulfen says:

People will say yes just as long as they don’t have to do the fighting.

  10. mbadgjl says:

Absolutely. The problem is, I think we are fighting a losing battle.

  11. Go live in a Communist country for a while and then you will appreciate our freedom. Why do you think so many other people want to be here.

  12. allmetal says:

our freedom is worth every life we have but to fight and die for someone that really dont care stand back and let them die
i will fight to the death for MY freedom

  13. Veteran Voter says:

I believe that any person not willing to defend freedom does not deserve freedom. They should thank a veteran every day for the freedoms that they hold dear.
Edit…NAFTA is a joke. It is one of the worst things ever to happen to America. It has reulted in increased drug trafficing, increased human trafficking, and increased illegal immigration. It has devalued the American dollar, sent jobs to Mexico for a cheaper workforce. It has worsened the Mexican environmental situation. The health of Mexicans near the new plants is deteriorating because of the lack of standards placed by the Mexican Government.

Perhaps if their was a resistance of 5 million people, we may succeed then. The shadow government isn’t that large, they’re are only a couple thousand people behind it and a few hundred ruling families. People need courage to stand up to these worthless, old fashioned aristocratic fat cats. In my opinion , their shouldn’t even be a global elite, as a matter of fact, their shouldn’t even be an elite for anything! It should be “The Law Of The Balanced”, fairness for all(intelligent, sane people though).

  15. You gonna round up a posse and take on the u.s. government? It must be strange if you are a veteran to see the underhanded actions of the government that you put your life on the line for. I’ve never thought about that before…

  16. Yes, of course Freedom is worth fighting for. I can’t see myself “living” in a fascist dictatorship. Although, it seems there are many people who are willing to… I don’t understand that.
Maybe I’m just spoiled or too much of an individual, but I don’t want to live in a country like China or Nazi Germany. I’m an idealist and I want this country back to the Revolutionary America. I know that this country has never been ideal, exactly,.. with racism, slavery, “war on drugs”, Federal Reserve.. there’s always been problems. But there’s nothing wrong with our Constitution, they got that right! The idea of a Free America has never been wrong. Now there’s little left of our Constitution and few Americans have noticed it’s absence. It’s a shame.
If the North American Union comes about… as it is expected. Well then, that will do away with what’s left of our Constitution. That will certainly make it easier for our corrupt politicians and those powers that be to rewrite everything! I may find myself on that Terrorist Watch List some day for saying these things. I don’t care… because if I was watching all of these things transpire and didn’t say something. If I didn’t speak out and try to wake others up.. Well that would make me Worthless. Unamerican.
