If I Own The Only Domains That Identify The Name Of A Popular Region, How Much Are They Worth?

No one else has my set of names, .com, etc., that capture the name of a region with 150,000 people and attracts millions of tourists a year. I haven’t done much with it except attach a message board, that gets 10,000 views a day.
What do you think this .com name would fetch?

It’s worth as much as someone wants to pay for it and as much as you’re willing to sell it for. There is not set value. With that said, a client of mine let his domain name go (accidentally). Someone else picked it up and he had to buy it back from them – the catch here is that the domain was that guys first and last name. A lot of people make decent money hustling domain names like this.

A domain name is only worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it…
Having said that, if you’re looking to sell, it won’t hurt to have an appraisal to show the buyer what “market value” is.http://www.domainappraisal.org/
